A Christmas Carol.

Thursday 22nd December. 2.00pm.

The acclaimed American actor Al LePage aka Thomas Hutchinson will be visiting the Birmingham and Midland Institute at its Christmas party on the 22nd December this year at 2pm when Thomas Hutchinson will perform a full dramatic reading of ‘A Christmas Carol’. Mr LePage is donating this performance free of charge to the Institute and has requested that all funds raised will be used to benefit the B.M.I. In addition to the reading there will be a party at which Christmas fare such as mince pies, meat pies, mulled wine, non alcoholic punch, hot chestnuts, toad in the hole and rolls and butter will be provided in substantial quantities. In addition to the feasting and drama there will also be music but dancing is not compulsory.

Tickets can be obtained from the Birmingham and Midland Institute reception, telephone number 0121 236 3591 and cheques should be made payable to the Birmingham and Midland Institute. You are advised not to attend this event if you do not enjoy merriment and laughter.

This event is open to anyone and the admission charge is £10 per head, £7.50 for members of the BMI and £6 for students.
