Is a career in science for you? Join us for a day of interactive workshops on science topics, and talk to real scientists and university students studying science. Primarily aimed at 13-18 year olds, but open to all.
Experts will give presentations on chemistry, physics and astronomy, mathematics, medicine, meteorology and environmental science, each lasting 45 minutes, at 10am, 11am, 1pm and 2pm, joined by university students studying these subjects. The workshops will give an insight into some interesting aspects of the discipline, as well as a window into working with science in the real world. Attendees will be able to ask questions and chat informally with undergraduate students about what it is like to study the subject at university.
There is no ticket price, but a donation would be appreciated. As it is a donation, EventBrite will allow you to book one ticket at a time. You may, of course, book more than one, but they will be registered individually.
